I was born and raised in Jordan.
Where did you go to Medical School?
University of Jordan School of Medicine then I did my Intern year at the Royal Medical Services, and then I started working as a hospitalist in Jordan.
Why did you choose NW Internal Medicine Residency?
I chose NW Internal Medicine Residency because it offers everything I seek in a program: a cooperative and friendly environment, rotations in multiple hospital settings, and a diverse close-knit community fostering mutual growth and support. It feels like home away from home.
What are your professional interests within Medicine?
I’m interested in Primary Care, Concierge Medicine and Hospitalist roles.
What are your interests or hobbies outside of Medicine?
I’m deeply passionate about hiking and engaging in outdoor activities. I also find joy in cooking and baking, especially Italian cuisine and chocolaty pastries.
What are you most excited about for life in Tucson?
I’m most excited about experiencing Tucson’s stunning nature and breathtaking skies, along with its year-round wonderful weather. Moreover, I can’t wait to share this exciting journey with my husband, who is also pursuing a General Surgery residency in Tucson.
Favorite way to spend a day off?
My favorite way to spend a day off is by soaking up quality time with my family and friends, exploring outdoor activities, sightseeing, and visiting wildlife spots.
