Dr. Aaronson is a Southern California native who is a late-discoverer of his passion for medicine. He went to the University of California, Irvine where he studied physics and spent an appreciable amount of time singing and traveling with an international award-winning all men’s choir the Men in Blaque.
After graduation, he went on to earn his Masters’ degree in biotechnical engineering and bioinformatics with an emphasis in stem cell research at California State University – Channel Islands. It was after graduate school that he started to discover his passion for medicine, which culminated in attending medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona.
Dr. Aaronson is married to his wife Alexa, who he met while singing in choir, and has two dogs and a young daughter. He enjoys cooking, singing and spending time with his family. His goal in medicine is to stay in Tucson, become a teaching attending physician for future residents and serve the community he fell in love with during medical school. His medical interests include: end-of-life care, palliative care, evidence-based practices, hospital medicine, and teaching.
