Mona Sheikh

Dr. Mona Sheikh completed her medical education at a prestigious medical school in Egypt. Her journey in medicine has been marked by a keen interest in hepatology and gastroenterology, driven by a profound commitment to improving patient care in these specialized fields. During her time as a physician in training at a liver institute in Tucson, Dr. Sheikh held an Arizona transitional training permit license. Here, she gained extensive experience managing complex medical conditions, particularly decompensated liver cirrhosis. She enjoys providing comprehensive care to patients with intricate health needs. In addition to her medical training, Dr. Sheikh holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and is a certified public health professional, having successfully passed the CPH exam. She is a firm believer in the vital role physicians play as advocates, initiators, and decision-makers in public health, constantly striving to bridge the gap between clinical practice and public health initiatives. Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Sheikh is an avid traveler with a passion for exploring new cultures and meeting diverse groups of people. She has traveled extensively across the United States, visiting states such as Texas, Florida, California, Washington DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Maryland, Ohio, and Nevada. Dr. Sheikh finds solace and inspiration in nature, often capturing its beauty through photography and videography. This love for the outdoors complements her holistic approach to life and medicine, where she balances rigorous clinical demands with enriching personal experiences. Dr. Sheikh’s journey is a testament to her unwavering dedication to medicine and public health, driven by a compassionate heart and an adventurous spirit.
