Dr. Derek Tang was born and raised in Glendale, Arizona. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at Arizona State University and worked as a medical assistant prior to attending medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine – South Georgia. He chose to pursue Internal Medicine and NorthWest Healthcare because of the community and hopes to further foster a welcoming environment.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Tang likes cooking new dishes, traveling and exploring new locations, and hanging out with friends and family. He is always looking forward to trying new thing and is open to suggestions and recommendations.
